In accordance with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we would like to inform you of the purposes for which and the ways in which your personal data are processed.

1. Personal data processed
- Identity and contact details: name and surname, email address and phone number (information you provide via the contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp).
- Content of your request: the information you write in your message.
- Transaction security information: the IP address, browser information and access time kept in server logs when you visit the site.
- Special categories of personal data (health data): health data you share during psychological counselling and therapy are processed solely for the purpose of providing the service and in accordance with the conditions in Article 6 of the KVKK. We kindly ask you not to write detailed information about your health in the contact form.
2. Purposes of processing
- Responding to your contact and appointment requests,
- Planning and providing psychological counselling services,
- Fulfilling obligations arising from legislation,
- Ensuring the security of the website.
3. Legal grounds
Your personal data are processed on the legal grounds set out in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (c), compliance with a legal obligation of the data controller (ç), the establishment, exercise or protection of a right (e) and the legitimate interests of the data controller (f). Health data are processed within the framework of the conditions laid down in Article 6 of the KVKK.
4. Method of collection
Your personal data are collected electronically, by automated or partly automated means, through the contact form on the website, email, phone, WhatsApp and the Doktortakvimi appointment system.
5. Transfer
Limited to the purposes above and only to the extent necessary, your personal data may be shared with the website hosting provider and, where required by law, with authorised public institutions and organisations. Email correspondence is conducted through the email service provided by Google LLC and WhatsApp correspondence through the service provided by Meta Platforms; in this context, your data may be processed on servers located abroad (KVKK Article 9). For appointments made via Doktortakvimi, Doktortakvimi’s own privacy notice and privacy policy also apply.
6. Retention period
Your personal data are kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the retention periods laid down in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights under the KVKK
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data are processed; to request information if they have been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data are used in line with that purpose; to know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom the data are transferred; to request correction if the data are incomplete or inaccurate; to request their deletion or destruction within the framework of Article 7 of the KVKK; to request that these operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data have been transferred; to object to a result to your detriment arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems; and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

In accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
